I'm gonna say yes, but I doubt you're the only one who began reading yaoi at that age. Yaoi content isn't exactly pre-teen material, same goes for yuri. I'm talking about yaoi/yuri mangas with explicit scenes btw. If the yaoi that you read/watch aren't explicit then go ahead, but you'll run into the explicit ones eventually. I'm more of a yuri person but I did try yaoi smut once when I was 13, which made me cling onto yuri more lol. It was Kuroneko Kareshi. But I did like the one I read after that, which was Ten Count. 6 years later, I still prefer yuri. No hate on yaoi, just haven't found one I'm interested in yet.   1 reply
