Where do you get inspiration to draw?
I've been stuck and unable to draw anything for a month or two, even when i get ideas. I was wondering if any other fellow artists have some tips on getting that push to draw cause i'm stumped lmao
Usually watching other people draw gets me in the mood to draw if not that look up different clothing styles sometimes imagining an OC wearing a certain outfit can give you motivation to draw them listening to music sometimes gets me in the mood to draw like In this shirt, the Irrepressibles, or Maggot, Slutever those songs usually give me motivati...... 1 reply
Since you have no ideas I would focus on bettering your art style. Maybe learn to make better background, practice different angles, etc

I tend to search for music, or listen to music I already like, and imagine scenes and stories and characters to go with them. I listen to music during my chores and simultaneously let emotions and expressions run through my head until I build up a strong need to express them through art. I usually listen to music and space out for a while for inspiration. However, there are great sites for practicing poses and anatomy if you're in a slump.

Tbh i usually watch a ghibli movie and see how pretty and beautiful the art is then i get motivated to draw. What i draw depends on what in in the mood for. Sometimes i'll recreate a ghibli scene, draw a random pretty person, or i'll just mess around in my sketch book with random weird doodle ideas. Probably everyone does this, but I find watching speedpaints really motivating. It’s really interesting watching how other artists’ draw this and that, and just their whole process is like in general. I often watch closely on certain things to try out later when I draw, like anatomy, facial expressions, and clothes.

Sometimes when i have art block i listen to a song i really like and make a story out of it and draw the characters while listening to the song so it helps me get the best feeling for it, usually they’re sad songs (ex: Heather by Conan Gray) bc they’re the easiest to make a story out of.
