I used to ship RL people when I was in KPOP fandom. Now if I look back it just feels weird shipping people like that. You don't even know they're close or not. Maybe they show affection to each other just like how friend is and we took them as romantic gesture. If giving affection to other is seen as something romantic it's just too narrow. I also tried to ship actors/youtubers/anything but it's just impossible. I'll stay with shipping characters.
