Hi, so I have a guy friend whom I'm trying to rope into the yaoi world. They are pretty open-minded and gave yaoi a chance despite being straight. Anyways so I haven't been that successful in recommending him a few books (which is rare, because other fujoshi find me a delight xd) His preferences include massive drama/story, nice art, ALSO no NSFW. That's right, he can't handle it. I tried back then, he kinda dropped my recommendation which was heartbreaking. So far the best that I got him to read was Back to School. He gave it rave reviews and I was so happy for him. But I'm kinda running out of things to recommend him, I felt like if I recommended fluffy non-nsfw he'd be bored of it lol.

I would say Given it's pretty dramatic, also Hidamari ga kikoeru, Koimonogatari, Sasaki to Miyano (this one is really cute) I heard that A shoulder to cry on is really good too even though I haven't read it yet. Unripened Expression is good too. 10 Dance too. Another one really good is Kimi wa natsu no Naka and that's all I can recommend for now. You can read all of them If you want so you can choose one if then for you friend according of which one you think he may like (=・ω・=)
I actually read a few of those titles already (like Given and Hidamari ga Kikoueru) but they're both ongoing so I didn't recommend them yet hehe SneakyIntel
Update: I read Sasaki to Miyano (super cute that I also read it's side story: Hirano to Kagiura) and A Shoulder to Cry On (super good, I think I'll recommend this one hehe)

I don't really know much dramatic BL Mangas. But for non-NSFW and beautiful art style I recommend Path To You - this is soft though... and At the End of Road - oh this one's pretty angsty manhwa so I recommend him this first. hope this helps
