everything's wrong with isekai

Can anyone please explain to me why Isekai manhwa is so messed up?

I hate this genre because the male leads are usually crazy or cruel. I don't get it. Why is this type of character even popular? Yesterday i decided to make a list containing the most interesting isekai manhwas but i failed because the majority of these stories are so messed up and toxic.

The female lead either:
1 Travels back in time and falls in love with the person who hurt her
2 She get transmigrated into the body of a character from a novel and falls in love with a horrible person.

Why? Just why? The female leads in Japanese Isekai usually end up with normal guys. So why does this happen in Isekai manhwas?
I'm so sad because there are so many stories that had potential but the author just decided to ship the FL with a psychopath. What pisses me off the most is that everyone treats it like it's completely normal. Even the readers sometimes just ignore it. WTF? Like everyone doesn't acnowledge the fact that the emprerors from "Suddenly Became a Princess One Day" and "Daughter of the Emperor" are fucking insane. How am I supposed to like them when they're so messed up. I don't care how hot they are or that they love their daughter. They're crazy, merciless and cruel. They don't deserve forgiveness or love. The same happened in a lot of other manhwas too. I had to drop reading "The Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes" because it seems like there is going to be some romance between the FL and her husband. I don't get it... The male lead didn't care about the original owner of the body and now he's falling in love with the protagonist. WTF? I think that it's messed up.
Why can't we have normal male characters just for once? I want the Female lead to respect herself and ignore bad guys. Am i asking for too much? Do the authors make all the ML so cruel because it's... interesting or what? I don't understand.
If so, then they screwed up because they didn't need to make a character evil to make him interesting. Alejandro from "Sincerely: i Became a Duke’s Maid" is the villain but he's not really evil. He hasn't done horrible things, in fact, he can be considered a victim. The male lead from "The Villain's Savior" is not that bad either. In the original story he did some bad things but at least we can sympathize with him because his life was terrible (and the FL actually changed his destiny so he doesn't repeat his mistakes). The male lead from "The Maid and the Vampire" treats the FL well right from the beginning. He scares her at first but then he starts treating her well and he actually apologizes for what he had done. Why can't more male leads do the exact same thing?
I know that there are some good Korean novels/manhwas where the FL falls in love with a good guy but... It either takes forever for the new chapters to come out or the thanslator dropped the story. Many of these novels were not even translated into English in the first place (I'm not trying to offend anyone. I know that translators have their own lives but I'm just sad that novels/manhwas with disgusting male leads are updated regularly but the ones with normal male leads are forgotten).

So, what do you think? Do you agree with my point of view or do you think that cruel male leads are not that bad? Because I think that falling in love with the guy who hurt you is wrong. And why is isekai manhwa so messed up in the first place?
