How to stop being a pick me?
Hello!!! I had a conversation with a friend and they told me I sometimes sounded like a pick me. And I know that's a bad thing cause people hate it so I said "ye that's true" cause what can I say? So now I am wondering how not to be a pick me?
I think someone else said it earlier, but a pick me is generally someone who drags others down with backhanded comments to make themselves “stand out” from the rest…even though they OBVIOUSLY HATE attention (sarcasm).
