seriously how do yall just read tragedy?
dude like I actually hate i cry very easily but i just knoww most tragedy stories are usually chef’s kiss but ughhh the sad part is going to get stuck on my mind and I’ll keep getting sad but especially bittersweet endings oh my I’ll literally cry probably so hard thats why i read them once every year like something gut wrenching is only once a year for me
Good tragedies aren't just gloom and doom stories, they usually end on a hopeful note. The good ones don't leave the mc emotionally shattered, they have them coming to terms with what happened in their own way. Haruka Tooki Le might end with them dying, but it's with them finally taking control of their lives. A Cruel God Reigns has the mc go damn ...... reply
Idk really there's something in tragedies that makes me want to read more even though I know it would leave me depressed and shit, just like irl ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ here's a random pic of my cat reply
Nop i always avoid tragedy stories not my cup of tea , like I am already depressed and stressed irl so I come here to read happy good stories and if I read a tragedy story then my mental health would be dommed, sigh.
Oh reminds me of "10 years that I loved u the most"(^~^;)ゞ reply
Man I can't do it either it's too much for my heart max I can do is cheap ahh BL drama with rival love interest bombing the main couple I legit kickstart a panick attack if its more than that. I just don't have it in me anymore, my 14 yo self would laugh at my face, go back to reading gore/psychological horror and call me a pussy. reply
Because it’s cathartic! Ik a ton of people have said it already, but having a good cry in a controlled environment can be really great for relieving stress and pent up emotions from your life.
The nice thing about crying over a good story, is that when you’re done you can return to the real world and leave behind all those raw emotions. 1 reply
