What's an opinion of yours that has changed recently?
Pet names (or terms of endearment), you either hate them or love them. I'm with the group that loves them, but I still have a list of pet names that are a big no for me. Kitten was on that list because at the time it was associated with discord mods, and it just sounded weird to me. Nowadays I actually thought about the term again and I thought to myself, "Hmmm, maybe its not...too bad?" idk, if it's the right person that calls me "kitten", I'd kinda get into it. Maybe because the pairing became less relevant. Still wouldn't date a discord mod though.
my opinion on my neighbour changed recently! by recently, i mean really recent, like last night type of recent.
so i hosted a party at my house last night and i invited this neighbour i didn't really like just as a formality. i always thought he was this cold, rude type from my prior interactions with him. however, i was pleasantly surprised to fi...... 2 reply
Not a recent one, but one I think about a lot is maturity.
I used to believe as adults we meet certain milestones (I.e. getting a car, buying a house, getting a job.) But those things are not guaranteed, you have to work for them. Even then, there can be barriers to your best efforts.
I thought I would naturally know things, both concrete an...... reply
That you're still a "real kpop fan" even if you just show up at comebacks. People just have lives outside the groups they stan, or kpop in general. Such a shame that others used to be shamed for only being active when their groups have comebacks reply
Cats vs. dogs. All of my childhood pets were dogs so inevitably I thought I was a dog person, but when I got my cat that opinion totally changed and now, although I still adore dogs, I find I prefer cats. (Wasn't that recent cause I got him a year ago but still) reply
Doing things by yourself - when i was younger I'd always wanna do things and go somewhere with family and friends but now I'm like life is too short to be waiting around waiting for responses and all that, especially when you really wanna do smth and no one will go w you; just do it yourself bc you'll never know what will happen p(^-^)q 2 reply
I'm embracing my sensitive and empathetic side recently - I used to think of it as a weakness and hide it since I was a child. As I grew older I realized how important these two qualities actually are. I'm truly grateful that I haven't lost them, as they make me feel human and more open to the world ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ reply
I used to do things that made me uncomfortable just to make others happy, but now I am standing up for myself. I guess I started respecting myself more. I also used to think that I won’t need a driving licence since I'll be moving to a big city soon, but since I almost got assaulted recently, I changed my mind. reply
Agreed about the pet names, I was open to them before but only if they weren't too "cringey". That was until me and my gf started to ironically call each other "babygirl" as a joke and it stuck around to the point we now call each other that all the time
As for another opinion that changed, I don't mind spiders that much anymore I guess? reply
Kind of ashamed to admit this but I used to think opinions of celebs like Noah Schhnap , Joey king were valid because they were mad at Hamas for harming innocent Israelis as they are Jews themselves just like how Muslims are mad because other Muslims are being harmed. But as I learned more about the history of Palestine I got ot know how absolutely...... 3 reply
