I was supposed to watch it in the cinema too (i had already bought the tickets), but my teacher wouldn't let me leave the class even after my mom personally came to pick me up. I missed it and my siblings left without me. I was seriously SOBBING for 3 hours straight, only for my sister to come back and say that the movie was trash
it would be better if you pay for a streaming service to watch it online. Because my experience at the theatre was horrible. People kept screaming, there would be people who wouldn't go to their seat and would just stand there at the screen blocking my and other peoples view and there was a group of elementary aged kids changing seats every 10 minutes.

Oh yeah, streaming service would be way better considering that my siblings both mentioned those little kids running around, screaming, and turning on their flash lights.
slight spoiler but i played the game years ago and the movie is more ''drama/trauma dump'' than it is horror. Majority of the plot centers around Mike's past trauma of his younger brother getting kidnapped.
Also just because i did not like it doesn't mean it's not a good movie. maybe you will like it idk.

Idk the movie would've been 100x better if it included all those jumpscares and gore (i literally only wanted to watch it for that because the lore is amazing lol) like what was in the game. I'm super disappointed tho
