am i the only person that when i see so much red flag in the ML i stop reading the BL
cause i feel like everyone be ignoring those big red flag and keep simping over them or like they normalized r@pe and everything which is weird lol ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Personally, i keep reading because even if its toxic I'll try to enjoy the story as best as i can but sometimes these authors do way too much. Stuff like waterside night is lowkey digusting bro like i cant count the amount of rape it has on my damn fingers. Its fetish at this point. reply
Bl fans are indenial they like toxic plots ,if that's not the case, why are popular yaoi/Bl the toxic ones, and unfortunately sex sells. I'm not looking for for a fight here, this is a very subjective opinion. 1 reply
Duh, I'll drop it if it gets too much too - we all just got different tolerance levels in what we consume I just don't play the moral apostle and judge others openly for still enjoying something cause in the end it's just a fictional story with ficitional characters, it's not like I'm on here to make friends anyway & why make my life harder by figh...... reply
I think there's a difference. You can have a red flag (or more) in a manga/webcomic. But I think "the bad thing" is when that/those red flag/s are romantiziced (I'm not pretty sure if that word is used right, in Spanish we have "romantizar"). That's when I drop reading. but I don't think it's bad if there's red flags when you see that the author is...... 1 reply
I have also dropped many stories for this reason, even ones I was invested in. I had to stop reading because I was upset and angry at the way that some authors sugar-coat and romanticise assault. Now if I sense that it's gonna be that type of story I drop it so fast for the sake of my sanity

Same, not only for BL tho. I don't mind so much when it's PWP (let's all be honest we don't read those for the inexistent story) but whenever there's even a thin story line I just can't appreciate it as much and end up dropping it reply
