How to stop crying or laughing at inappropriate times
I swear my humor isn’t fucked up or anything, I just zone out and end up thinking about something that makes me laugh. The problem is that happens a lot when a teacher is talking and it usually ends badly, especially if they say something like, “You think this is funny?” in a stern voice.
Also what the fuck can I do to prevent myself from crying when someone’s yelling at me? I’m at a point where I literally might just ask me friend to yell at me all day so I get used to it.
Bro this, I need this too, this dude broke principal’s phone, everyone got quiet but I broke out laughing, shit but it looked something like this

I still remember in 5th grade when I zoned out and laughed thinking about a stupid joke I saw earlier that day when my teacher was reading Bridge to Terabithia.
The moment in the book was when the main character was grieving and feeling guilty for his friend Leslie’s death.
I was mortifyingly embarrassed.

The not-crying-when-being-yelled-at thing took practice for me, I basically just realized it made my situation worse and learned to hold it in over time. But i always end up crying about it after they’re gone/the situation is over - all the emotions just flood back
And idk about the laughing thing, ultimately u just have to keep your mind on top...... reply
pls my family is religious and when my mom is praying, it's super long so sometimes I end up zoning out and thinking about something funny. I need to pinch myself so hard to stop laughing and also happens a lot in other serious situations. Luckily, discretely hurting myself to stop laughing works. reply
Pls, i embarassed myself at public when i saw a little kid stumble and i laughed my ass out for a minute. Elders be looking at me like: why the fuck are you laughing at the poor child, you spawn of satan. reply
