There are works which don't get good ratings cause readers didn't like the art however good story they have.
There are also pieces which get high ratings due to the art despite having shitty plots.
I've also seen comments like "Would have given it a higher rating had it been colored." Like dude, colored is fine but B&W is classic.

Most of the time, no. Especially if the commentors say how stupid the story is but there are some instances I take the risk and 90% of the time, they're sht. But I found some gold ones so Im quite satisfied. reply
idc about ratings, i look at the tags and comments-
if there’s a tag like “ r/pe “ i leave immediately cause popular shit has that despite the high rating * facepalms * reply
I don't look at ratings. I read the first chapter, see if it looks good or not, and if it is I either put it in my reading or want to read depending on how many chapters there are so far. If it has less than 20 chapters, it goes in my reading list but any more than that and it goes to the want to read, never to be seen again reply
