stop reading?
i read manga for like a long time,, 160++ chap.. It started out amazingg!!! I really like this type of story. But the longer I read the more it gets boring. honestly the only reason why i kept reading was because i still have hope something interesting will happen. would you stop reading it?
If it's action or any genre other than romance then im completely ok with it having 100+ chaps for eg GOSU but if its just romance with no other genre tagging along with it,i would most likely drop it for eg lady baby reply
From what you've described, according to my personal experience - I'd definitely stop reading.
At least that's the (often sadly belated) conclusion I always eventually came to with all the manga I've read that were pretty much exactly as you describe. In my experience, after that initial boring phase where nothing changes, these types of manga actu...... 1 reply
I'd go through the chapters a bit faster (and maybe even skip some) but i wouldn't stop reading if it gets boring. Altough i would stop reading if something happens i dislike reply
yeah sometimes in the beginning of stories it’s interesting but as you get into the end it starts to become somewhat boring. i personally finish my stories (sometimes) just to see if there would be any development reply
Once the quality of the characterization, story and pacing decline in long-running comics I haven't seen it go back up later on. If you aren't looking forward to reading it anymore then unfortunately it isn't worth your time.
It's always so sad to see a story that started out really interesting become drawn out and lacking nuance or interest ;-;

Hmm most of the time, yes. For example manhua like Douluo Dalu/Soul Land series. I used to like these stories especially the school competition arc but when it got to ch 200+, I'm finding myself uninterested to the overall plot. So yea I decided to drop those. But then again sometimes I do check out the latest chapter to see if it started to become...... reply
