I think some of her work are pretty well done. Happy Shitty Life is really bad though, usually the author keeps a serious tone but here she literally fill the latest chapters with jokes about rape, and how it is « his fault » if the black haired Mc was fucked by an entire family. Like I’m worried about the author’s mental health if she thinks this is funny (⊙…⊙ )
I love Harada's works. The subject matter's of her manga's are often dark, but I feel that literature can be used to express anything - whether it be something socially acceptable or something that is often condemned. Some of her manga's are, admittedly, hard to read. I won't say I like everything that she has made, but I definitely put her in my top mangakas (at least for the yaoi genre).
Some of my favorites are Piercing Hole, Yugami Hajime + it's sequel, and Henai.
love literally everything they've written. they are really good at writing unique stories with attractive art, even if the psychological genre isn't everyone's cup of tea. i really like the shock value of their manga. my faves are piercing hole, color recipe, yoru to asa no uta, & hikizuru oto
