As a cat-person and someone who had cats for quite a long time, dogs are an experience. We had a dog about 3-4 years ago, but she was my father's dog so I didn't get much interaction in terms of caretaking. But these new dogs are considered mine, so I'm the one taking them out at 5 am and having my bed stolen every night as well as during the day.
