I’ve noticed people, girls particularly, are being bisexual cuz it’s ‘trendy’ or ‘quirky’ or idk but none of them have gfs if I look at that group of girls then I’d expect half of the whole to have girlfriends and half to have boyfriends but no, almost everyone has a male partner and don’t look like they’ll date someone female either....now why r u doing this to be ‘trendy’ or ‘cool’ or just that being lgbtqia is ‘fun and popular’....well I feel offended, I’m lesbian and I have been through hardship because of it and seeing someone do this is just heartbreaking.... ps this isn’t just about mangago users this is about Roblox, Instagram etc too- please don’t come at me-
They shouldn't have to date girls all of the time or the other way around to be bi? I've only dated one girl and a few guys but I get what you're saying about how people will say they're bi just to try and be a part of lgbtq+ but at the same time they could just find woman attractive but prefer to date guys or maybe they're worried about dating ano...... reply

Yes this is known to happen and it’s really disgusting. but please don’t call someone out for saying their bi, and you’ve only seen them have boyfriends. Bc they also might be too scared to have a girlfriend and face hate for having one, or they mightve come out to you and not their parents. So please be respectful.

Being marginalized and claiming identities is 'in' now. It's hard to find a lesbian that hasn't become trans and a bisexual that's genuinely bisexual. Clearly you weren’t on Tumblr in 2015. Performative bisexuality is nothing new. People who do this either are not queer at all and want oppression points or see bisexuality as a stepping stone for coming out as gay/lesbian. reply

Umm... Maybe just let those girls explore their sexuality? Just because they're dating guys does not mean they're not bisexual. They may just have a preference for guys - you don't know their story. Even if they are just doing it for a trend, they are not harming anyone by doing so. I'm saying this as someone who is bisexual. At least they are open...... reply
Your daily reminder that bisexual people are still bisexual even if they haven't dated someone of the same gender, because it doesn't mean they would never date them. Stop trying to find reasons to invalidate other people's identity.
Everyone experiences their sexuality in different ways and liking someone isn't something you can control.

Every time I come here, there is a new form of discrimination. Geezus. Some bi are hetero leaning, it does not negate their attraction to women, even if they never had relations with them. I came out as bi last year but realized I was pan about 5 or 6 months ago. I have not had a girlfriend before but that doesn't mean I'm not pan or that I identify as pan because it's "quirky" or "fun". It just means I'm ugly af and no one wants to date me-
