Are you comfortable with reading yaoi but not yuri?
if yes why aren't you comfortable with it.....if u are a fujoshi which also means u r straight(not always but mostly) and as a girl if u can accept yaoi then why don't u accept yuri.
I'm sexually attracted to guys, that's why i'm comfortable reading yaoi and not yuri. It is that simple. You can't tell people what or what not to like. Just because i feel uncomfortable seeing 2 girls fucking doesn't mean i am homophobic. A homophobe is someone who hates, ostracizes, bullies, or has prejudice against homosexual people. 4 reply
i'm perfectly fine with both, but i used to be like this and i'm gonna take a guess and say it's because they are used to the concept of yaoi, but havent gotten used to yuri yet. it could also be that they are unfamiliar with lesbian relationships in general (even i don't see a lot irl).
pretty sure they do ACCEPT it but are just not comfortable ...... reply
I am perfectly fine with it as long as both party are consenting
I am pansexual but I can understand why straight fujoshis get uncomfortable I mean it’s normal maybe straight guys will be uncomfortable to see yaoi too. It doesn’t mean they're opposed to it. And if they are they are just homophobic bish ( ̄へ ̄) 1 reply
I like both, but finding good yuri is hard! I'm a lesbian so I love reading a good yuri manga, but at the same time I've been reading yaoi before I came out and accepted that I was fully gay. That being said, I never really understood yaoi fans not like yuri... You don't have to read porn, god knows there's plenty of not explicit yuri manga out the...... 2 reply
i love both so much. but i have to say i am more of a yuri fan because i found yuri first then i found yaoi. eventhough i read more yaoi, yuri takes the number 1 spot. reply
Hmmmm, I think it might be because of how women are depicted in yuri. Generally, their bodies are perfect hourglass figures and such because a lot of the explicit yuri is geared toward men similar to how a lot of yaoi is geared to women. It's kind of similar to how hentai has this issue too where all the women's bodies have super big boobs/butt, an...... 2 reply
So first of all, fujoshi aren't 'mostly' cis straight girls, people need to get that out of their heads. Consumers of BL are not only cis straight women, but all possible members of the LGBTQIA+ community, stop assuming that all of us are white straight cis woman. Just so you know, if you're an anti-fujo : if you consume mlm content you're a fujosh...... reply
