TL;DR the popular now section on the homepage is the same shit everyday. it's quite tiring and sad tbh.
I know bitching and whining won't do shit, but I felt the need to talk about this because, this is kinda the whole point of the "things" section
I feel like all I see on the home page is yaoi after yaoi and if not yaoi, it's smut or the same types of shoujo tropes. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, if horny people want to ready horny mangas/manhwas, then all the power to them. And if people want to read a specific trope the go ahead - but it just feels cheap and tiring after the 1000th time.
Most of the "popular now" stories are the same, super bland, over-dramatic scenarios. The same concept, same characters, same relationship dynamics.
For example I'd like to see more stories with queer characters that aren't chained to the title of "uke" or "seme" instead, having realistic dynamics and relations. I'd like to see a variety of genres. I'd like to see more complicated characters who's backstory isn't defined by just one event. I know, in real life, it sometimes does work like that - but it's not always like that.
