I love the actress like she is SO pretty and talented but I really wanted to see the Ariel I grew up seeing. We shouldn't blackwash nor witewash a character that already exists. I still loved seeing our girl as a mermaid though.   1 reply

We live in times where people rage when voice actor's race doesn't match the character they're voicing but the very same people give pass to black actress playing a white, blue-eyed, redhead.
