Ch112 Seme is an asshole to uke, taking out his frustrations over his own unrequited love on the poor guy. Uke looks like he's been through some shit (spoiler alert from future me: he has *chugs soju*). He needs a therapist and a hug. Plot/Yuri's character breakthrough on ch26. FUCK THE BULLIES. FUCK THEIR PARENTS. FUCK THE HOMEROOM TEACHER WHO DIDN'T DO SHIT. FUCK THE SCHOOL THAT CAN'T KEPT UP WITH MODERN STUDENT RELATIONS & WOULD RATHER KEEP UP THEIR IMAGE THAN TAKE CARE OF STUDENTS. BURN THE WORLD IT'S A HORRIBLE PLACE. FUCK PUTIN AND RUSSIA TOO. DX It's just so fucking unfair! The people who test to do the right thing end up getting fucked over the most I hate it here! Ch110 and of good it still hurts TT__TT when do we get the happy ending???

The story itself is pretty average (uke runs away from seme cuz he's in lurve with his stepbro oh no!!!; also jealous, and rightfully paranoid rival) but it's elevated by the outstanding artwork, smut, and paingst. I kinda want to dock .5 for it being too short. There's a lot of substance there that it feels like we're just getting a preview for a longer story.

That angst really hits just right. Unff Uke doesn't believe in love. Or more like, he doesn't beleive it's something for him. He's a gloomy person who doesn't give others the best impression and he's fine with it. He has a sex buddy roommate and that it. The roommate leaves to work overseas and he realizes, maybe he does feel love. BUt it's too late buddy TT__TT.

I actually did like a conflict over Yuto seeing/sleeping with other guys after Hagiwara told him to. I think their decisions were realistic for that point in their relationship. Hagiwara was all up in his head not wanting to be in a relationship and was so sure that what he had with Yuto was temporary anyways. And Yuto was trying so hard but getting pushed away plus this is the first guy he slept with period so he was probably trying to see if what he's feeling was unique to Hagiwara or to just being out and dating in general. I like how Hagiwara acknowledge that he had no right to be upset since it was his command in the first place but he still felt upset. It's realistic in that youreap what you sow. My only gripe is how Yuto addressed it. I get what he's saying but he could have put it in a better way. (Also, maybe he should have brought it up before running into one of his one-night stands LOL.)

Ch4.1 Insecure gay uke is already bracing himself for the end of his relationship with formerly straight seme, despite being really into the romantic lughead. But I'm glad that most of the conflict and fighting happened within MC's head, and he didn't do something stupid like run away without talking with ML about it. Plus the two characters actually talk a lot in this short story. It was really cute how ML was telling MC about how whenever his little sister brings over her boyfriend, the older sister always cuts the hair of whoever she finds to be handsome. And then later on in the story, we see MC with his hair short, indicating that he actually did meet up with ml's sisters. :')
