Maid for the Millionaire
Definitely one of the better ones. All the characters are great. The ML started off kinda dense, but he really wanted to be better than he was and make amends for all the right reasons. A good read.
A Rancher In Her Stocking
I liked it. He sure took his time, though, and feeling devastating guilt over something that wasn't his fault is quite unhealthy. Glad he got over it.
For the Sake of His Heir
Rags to Riches Baby
Loved her, hated him. What an a**hole! His "horrible trauma" didn't happen until he was an adult. He brought his father out of bankruptcy and fixed his company, ending up richer than Croesus, and yet he let it color his life. Ergo, he was a frickin' entitled box of rocks. And I don’t believe for a second that 1/2 a billion wasn’t anything he wanted. My experience of the vast majority of rich people (and, yes, I do have a fair amount of experience) is that they can never be rich enough.
Greek Doctor: One Magical Christmas
That was a nice breath of fresh air. The late nephew was an a**hole to the extreme. At least he left the stock to the baby. The ML was a really good guy even though he started off mistrusting women due to a bad marriage. It always amazes me that guys turn misogynist over one woman when they have great mothers and sisters. It's almost as though mom and sis are the only exceptions of the 4 billion + women in the world! The FL, now, she rocked. His sister was pretty decent too. I'm just sorry she had to be saddled with a jerkwad AND rapist for a son.
Redbird
Cute. A non-scumbag ML and an FL who didn't melt like a pat of butter on a hot griddle at his touch. Not only that, she liked bald eagles and Puccini. She was right to steer a musician who doesn't know opera to Turandot. Any musician who hears Nessun Dorma sung well for the first time will never forget that experience. Makes me think of the reporter who asked Blue Oyster Cult why they weren't touring during late summer. Answer: "We'll be at the Bayreuth Festival."
An Engagement of Convenience
Loved her, loved Nonna, liked Rosa, too; ML was a dick.
THE WASTREL
I kind of enjoyed it, but the first time my guests badmouthed my other guests, they would be asked to leave. And if my parson buddy intimated that my fiancée was a slut, the last thing I would do is allow him to officiate at my wedding.
Bride of the Isle
