Wrong Love (chong Zi)

Complete | chong zi | 2000 released

Yeah, that was way too rushed, so it ended up being silly and disjointed. Pretty art, too bad the story sucked. I mean, I've seen way worse, but it could have been so much better.

Akujiki no Dinner

Complete | OGAWA Chise | 2017 released

Cute so far, and I love her art, of course. Four stars for now, just cause it's abrupt, and I don't know how I'll feel about the story. I'd like to know why he was suddenly like, yeah, cool, suck my blood--but that probably can be chalked up to yaoi logic. Still, I'm looking forward to more. ^^

Vampire Girl (tanaka Minoru)

Complete | tanaka minoru | 2000 released

I'd be interested to read more about hot, lesbian vampires, lol. This was an interesting little one shot. Shame it's so short, though, because it'd be fun to examine the complicated relationships. And everything that happens after.

Blood Link

Complete | Brothers without a tomorrow | 2000 released

Lots of vampire yaoi lately. I'd love to find one that I really like, but so far it seems like I keep running into stuff like this, loaded with yaoi cliches that ruin it for me. I hate straight boy pairings, and honestly, at this point I'd rather see him end up with that girl. He likes her, she likes him, and there's nothing at all between the two straight guys. But we're gonna force it, by golly. I need chemistry or it's dull. I guess we'll see if anything improves.

Shitarana Pixiv Stories

Ongoing | Shitarana | 2019 released

This is kind of...odd. But also unusual in a positive way. It moves very quickly, and the art is all right but not gorgeous. I almost never read het, but this is actually kind of interesting, like in a gender fluid sort of way. That first story, though... I thought there'd be more yuri, but it was just one weird, random oneshot.

The Long Hair in the Attic

Complete | ITOU Junji | 2000 released

He has good ideas now and then, and sometimes I really wish he'd explore them more. Ultimately, his execution is just too clunky to be satisfying. He often either jumps around too much and too quickly, or he completely draws everything out for far too long. It's a shame, because he could do something really interesting with some of this, but it never really pans out.
