Wolfgang's manga / #dark(8)

Nii-chan (harada)

Complete | Harada | 2013 released

I walked into this after reading a bunch of fucked up stories thinking that this would be a walk in the park. boi was I wrong. I cried.

Yajirushi

Complete | Harada | 2015 released

I really liked each story for different reasons (except ch.1) ch.2 I love it when the secret is revealed at the end like in 2 and ch.3 I'm a sucker for emotionally abusive semes that take advantage of lonely ukes in Harada's works ch.4 I liked the NTR aspect of 4 and it's the first time I heard of the term ch.6 was refreshing because everything was just a role-play and it was done with consent

Feeding lamb

Complete | Nishin Masumi | 2000 released

Ok this was a great idea for a horror/gore/smut/yaoi but it was horribly executed This wasn't written well at all. The panels were way too close together, too much text with little direction, and it was confusing more than scary imo. There characters weren't even given a set motive or a reason as to why they acted that way which is one of the main selling point of psychological stories. ngl I kinda laughed because there was no way I could take all this angst seriously. It's like the author tried to shove in as much as possible in a one shot which obviously didn't work. The art style was really good though and it fit with the theme. Sorry for getting heated but you had to know.

Killing Stalking

Complete | koogi | 2016 released

FUCK MINA NO PLEASE GOD NO PLEASE

Obey Me

Complete | Milknono,Rusena | 2000 released

Um no...wack ass hoe 1. The art was already bad imo so I didn't like it from the start but I gave it a try anyway 2. Holy shit the plot is all over the place! The author just decided to put every single "plot twist" cliche they could think of into 40 chps so it ended up being a wild stretch each chp on the characters dumb backstories that are so half assed. 3. All the characters are so shitty?? Why TF is everyone acting so inconsistent but one dimensional at the same time- 4. It's crazy how all these things in the story like rape, kidnapping, suicide, self-harm, attempted murder, starvation, torture, homophobia, transpobia, abuse, bullying, depression, alcoholism, death, neglect, trauma, and stockholm syndrom were all treated so fucking lightly. This is a disgrace to killing stalking holy fuck. 5. The ending was so shitty I mean c'mon at least wrap up all the shit nicely! But nah just more shit on top of shit 6. For some reason it was so bad...it was good and I ended up bringing it all at once till the crack of dawn oops. Still would not recommend though.

To the Sea

Complete | Asada Nemui | 2000 released

Yesss THIS is a good kinda plot twist (It would've been five stars but it's a one shot so...there's not much) Asada Nemui along with Harada, Ogawa Chise, Zariya, Psyche Delico, Tamekou are gud fucked up mangakas

Warehouse

Complete | Team Killerwhale | 2016 released

61 THIS is how you write a kidnapping/rape story and tie in backstories! This is way better than killing stalking imo. Kim Dohyun CONSISTENTLY tries to obtain his freedom and he never gives in to Jung Sungho, physically or mentally. I was honestly expecting stockholm syndrome but the way the plot is going is so much better than just a "love story". ok update: Dohyun in chapter 49 I fucking anyways- still love it because Dohyun's mental state managed to hold on for a significant period of time and even when he gave in to Jung he took into consideration all the other aspects of his life, it's not Jung who made him submit but rather he was so weakened and let down by those around him that he chose to indulge in the pleasure even if it's toxic. ugh I keep on talking about how yeah Dohyun isn't a pussy and all (unlike a certain bum cough cough) but there are a lot of other great elements to this story like their reasons behind their behavior, the plot pacing, and the character arcs.

Shiga Hime

Complete | Sato Hirohisa | 2000 released

things got way more interesting when the familiars were introduced, now it's actually cool action/gore with an eerie aura the whole sexualizing kids things is really gross tho and I have to scroll past that one part of the story around chapter 22 so I can get back to the supernatural...really killed the cool buildup ok so I finished and- Im surprisingly not mad at the ending. I actually felt satisfied and the shitty reason for doing all those shitty things made sense. I'm a little confused on the whole power structure but it didn't matter cuz it's not like you had to really understand the world's rules to enjoy it. This manga would've been 10/10 would recommend to my friends if it wasn't ecchi or had children get involved with adults sexually because the emotions are so raw and powerful, the gory art's insanely cool, and the characters (specifically souichi and osamu) felt really detailed and complex. I'm gonna rate it 4 stars cuz it kinda slacked at the beginning and when we met the other sister (cuz she was too surface level to be interesting) but otherwise I really enjoyed reading it.
