This was a wild ride, all I can say is that at first I disapproved of the relationship, but now after everything that has happened to them. I feel like they were meant for each other in the end. Kinda crazy u know, but after all the hardships they went through (almost dying, drowning, bleeding out, man-whoring, contracts and “mind ducks”), they made it out in the end alive and thriving, got rid of the backstabbers, the CEO who forcefully took over King Cobra and reunited with old allies, it was a happily ever after.

God I really didn’t think I’d like this so much. Conor, a Korean-American, lives in a city where same-sex marriage has been legalized, but where racist and homophobic hate crimes are still frequent. From since kids Conor and Simon have met and been best friends, but Conor later realizing that he has feelings for him. He kisses Simon and everything is confirmed for their story. They loved to sing and make music together and when they were still in school, they created a band “Dark Heaven”, Mona, the drummer comes into play and becomes close friends with them, there were also other group members of different races and likings (they all seemed to get along with each other fine). Growing up wasn’t easy for anyone at this time, Simon received a lot of abuse from his step mom and step brother while his father was never to be seen because of work. He was mentally and physically tortured until Conor’s mom found up about the happenings and took Simon into her home. On the other hand Conor hasn’t has it easy too, being an Asian, he received lots of hate and was beaten up, being called names and bullied (he even go seriously multiple times and was sent to the hospital). The first time that he got seriously injured and finally woke up, this is where Conor confessed his love for Simon and he accepted. The world was a nasty place. This band of theirs didn’t last forever as they planned it because of the racist and homophobic remarks that were left behind causing Conor to confuse his self and went to be with a fan that Mona introduced him years ago to. Conor was now in a entertainment industry called “T-rex”. This industry used so many ways to get money, even if it would cost the person’s sanity. They made him climb to the top by having him perform deeds for them (old men in the bed, drugs and everything horrible). While this was going on, the CEO made sure to have a camera in the room so everything that was going on was being taped and stored in CDs in a safe in the wall. Some sick twisted lady she was. He was a well known singer and a lot of ppl looked up to him. While Simon was drowning in depression wishing to see Conor again, Conor was in conversion therapy that was held by the church. He now thought that being gay was a problem and he couldn’t be a sinner, so he went along with his parents wishes. Days go by and with that same girl, Veronica, the one Mona introduced him to, they were in a relationship, (he couldn’t get it up when they were together). Veronica was someone who was traumatized from since a little girl and believed that this guy who died for her (who was an Asian) sent down Conor to replace him. No one knew how psychotic she really was. After having many events being taken place, Conor couldn’t take it anymore and had to go to Simon and bring peace to his mind. When he went there and explained why he did what he did and how he felt, Simon couldn’t be happier, they both felt like they were living a dream and so their relationship reignited like nothing happened before. There was also an incident that took place before they met back, a concert that Conor was invited to at a beer fest. Conor and Veronica went together (seemed like she tried to make sure he had no contact with Simon) and at that place where he fought with Kiev (Conor’s cousin who worked in the same industry as Simon but as his manager), when the concert was done and the confettis were going to fly out of a barrel, a dead body that was chopped up fell and this is where the story really starts. Apparently Simon wanted to have Pete Bertram, the guy who bullied, beat and made Conor lose the ability to play back guitar the way he did, Simon was apart of this, but he never wanted anyone dead, he just wanted him to be caught alive and thrown into jail. The person doing the killings was no other than his stepbrother. He had gone mad. There was also a prosecutor who wanted Simon to be locked up, anyways, in the end he got arrested and Gale (Simon’s Stepbrother) was on the run. After all their hardships, Simon and Connor finally had their happy ending. The world was a bit more accepting to gay relationships and having foreigners around. It was as peaceful as it could be.

This was pretty interesting. The text that pops up, some ppl having slightly different abilities. It’s a pretty cool concept.

Crazy story Basically threatened the MC in order to get him in his palms all for “revenge” which btw was not uis fault, but his father. My guy had no idea Anyways fast forward dude got pregnant and then an incident happened and boom kidnapped, stabbed and miscarriage. Idek but it wasn’t an irritatingly stupid story, it was just a lot of cliches. Only thing that impressed me (not predictable) was the miscarriage part.

This was no happy ending, this was a happy guy that was slowly broken down until the end.
