Have read this before. Remember loving this a lot and enjoyed it greatly. Coming of age, the whole cast of children mature well. Especially the leads who for kids their age went through a lot. This is very dramatic and touched some heavy subjects. I really liked the female lead cheery optimism, the male lead was a brat and took some time to like when he finally matured.
