Reason seemed to be thrown out the window around chapter 7. Fucking was how they resolved most of their problems instead of actually addressing them and sorting things out properly. If you are someone who reads for story and easily get frustrated with these kinds of things this isn't for you. If you are here mostly for smut / a decent 3p and are okay with mildly toxic relationship habits you will probably enjoy this. My key problem with this story was how this kind of relationship IRL wouldn't work out. Not enough honest communication going on.

Toya rapes Kazuma several times. It's always played off but it doesn't mean that it doesn't happen. Kazuma says w Wait, No, and Stop, several times. Toya doesn't listen. Not once. It's never addressed. He doesn't apologize. If you can bear through the first 20 something chapters of rape, eventually it starts to become a mutual attraction (Idk how). I'm glad they both end up in a happy relationship with each other in the end but... it's not a healthy one until after Kazumas graduation (i hope?). A lot of mistrust between them even as Toya graduated. I pushed through the rough beginning and after it started to get "better" read it to full completion but... even still it doesn't sit right.
