Bokura ga Ita

Complete | OBATA Yuuki | 2002 released

ʚɞ Bokura ga Ita - We were there ʚɞ Tragic past and regret are the things that play a big role in this emotional story. The love story of a boy and a girl, from their teenage years till their early twenties. Through sad and happy moments, they experience many things and they mature also because of tragic and life-changing events. Reading this, I even cried at some points, cause there were so many emotions. In particular towards the end, all the missed timing made me think "what bad luck! will they be together?", but in the end, no matter how many years pass, I think certain love are simply meant to be. Bokura ga Ita is an award-winning work and, in fact, it didn't disappoint me. Aside the fact that I couldn't stand anymore Yamamoto Yuri, it's really a great story...definitely one of the best famous shoujo!

Close your eyes

Complete | HIDAKA Shoko | 2000 released

I liked this kind of story, but the ending it's really painful, even disappointing I'd say...but I guess it's a realistic, mature kind of ending. We can't always have a happy ending. But certainly it leaves a bitter taste behind. Personally, I still would have liked a continuation to see how things would have really gone between them once they would have started living under the same roof as step-brothers after their parents would have gotten married...especially since Ryou said he would remain in the house till graduation and then leave after that. Ending like that, it really makes me wonder about the ifs and buts... # Angst, Denied Feelings, Facade, Friends Grow Distant, Painful Love, Sacrifice, Unexpressed Feelings, Unresolved Romance

Boku No Hatsukoi Wo Kimi Ni Sasagu

Complete | aoki kotomi | 2000 released

Side story of Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru. Not only these two stories are related, but there is also an interesting connection between them: two painful love stories that, for different reasons, will be hampered by many difficulties. I liked how Yori and Takuma's paths crossed. Anyways, this story was so intense and emotional, it kept me worried until the end. It's bittersweet, but that's reality, the most important thing is to not lose hope!!  *ღ¸¸.•╮ [MAY SPOIL] I just hope that someday Kou will wake up!! ╥﹏╥ About the ending, it's ambiguous, cause it can be interpreted in two ways: I want to think that he survived the operation and, after the time skip, what we see is their actual future together; but it could also be that he died and the happy scene at the end is the future he imagined while writing the will. So, that's why this story is really sad and the live-action is even sadder, cause there is tragic ending. Anyways, the manga's ending can be interpreted according to one's own perspective.

Incest // Forbidden Love Main Story of Boku No Hatsukoi Wo Kimi Ni Sasagu. Not only these two stories are related, but there is also an interesting connection between them: two painful love stories that, for different reasons, will be hampered by many difficulties. Orange (takano Ichigo)

Complete | takano ichigo | 2000 released

Poor kakeru...if I could just give him a hug!! Regret isn't so easy to erase after all, especially if depression is also involved, but love is the best way to save a person and his regretful heart. This story also shows how impotant and pure friendship can be, I liked all the characters and how they cooperated with each other. And I think it's very interesting also the thing about parallel words and such. It's an aspect of sci-fi that really fascinates me. Orange is a beautiful and emotional story. You can't remain indifferent, cause it makes you wonder about the things you could have done, the words you didn't say and all the missed chances...so, reading this I got this message: be brave! Express your thoughs and feelings, don't be afraid, cause you might regret it later. -Bittersweet, but totally recommended! There are also anime and live-action-

End Game

Complete | yamanaka hiko | 2000 released

BL precious gem - beautiful story. Tooru and Katsuya touched my heart I understand Kuroda had his problems too ("had an unfortunate life ever since he was born" as we can see in the first extra, which was very sad), but this doesn't mean he can drive drunk, hitting a person and running away! Ruining people's lives and causing troubles even after 12 years! Even if he's ill, this is not justifiable! Anyways, I just want to focus on the pure love of Tooru and Katsuya. Tooru found himself in a really bad situation and probably the incident would have haunt him forever (especially the scene of little Katsuya crying for his mother...I was sad too seing that and Tooru that could only watch but couldn't do anything). Still, thank God he was there...if not, Katsuya would have been alone. After what happened they needed each other. So, even if it was the worst meeting, I'm glad they found each other: fate was cruel, but they were fated to be together! ( T ^ T )♡ Tooru didn't say anything about his feelings for Katsuya, but he loves him and I think one day he will say it to him! Anyways, Katsuya realized it, so I'm satisfied.

His romance of 500 years: a masterpiece by Yamanaka Hiko. A beautiful story, a rare gem with unique plot [SPOILER] Torao attempted suicide after his lover Hikaru died but, after 250 years of suspended animation, he wakes up and finds an android meant to be his lover's substitute, but he is not really like him. "I'm sorry I don't bear much resemblance - I love you." aww my heart! Anyways, before he knew it, Torao fell for him too and when a new android more similar to original Hikaru showed up, he didn't want him! Even after another 250 years of sleep, he still want to be with Hikaru B. So, he goes in the desert with 1% possibility of Hikaru B still existing...this moved me so much! And also how the android, all alone for 250 years, waited for Torao to wake up...so touching! Such a beautiful love between a human and an android. "My android, the kindest android in the world"~♡
