Chocolat
Action // Comedy // Slow Romance // Drama // Yakuza // Age Gap // Tragic Past 《》The plot may be a bit slow in the beginning but later it becomes very interesting and things start happening...there are alternating funny moments - love triangles and everyday life - and deeper moments - traumatic and tragic past and action-packed sequences with twists and unexpected turns of events...this is what has held together this manga: Chocolat is a mature comedy series, so it had a comic and lighthearted tone to it, but also important heavy themes....a beautiful story that after sad moments will leave a heartwarming feeling. I'm not a fan of time skip, so I wanted to see more details about the last events, but even so I'm satisfied. The manga was adapted to Drama
No. 6
"Why did I open the window that night? If I had not, I'd never have been forced to know what it's like to fight, to starve, and to suffer in anguish..." "I opened the window so I could meet you" ➸ It should be just BL subtext but for me it's much more: I could feel their love, the way Shion and Nezumi interacted, every word they said to each other, everything in their relationship was touching! Their meeting was definitely fate: two people with so different background and situation but with souls so close to each other...both couldn't forget that night 4 years ago and they needed each other; they had to go through so many hard times but they were each others' force! Also the setting, the plot, the story behind No.6 are unique, so this one, apart from being one of my favourite stories, is without a doubt a masterpiece! What I loved the most was the novel, but I enjoyed also the manga and the anime! This is a precious story that moved me to tears!! Novel: 9th-ave.blogspot.it / p / no-6.html?m=1 Anime: gogoanime.to / category / no-6
Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai
Gokinjo Monogatari
Spin-off: Paradise Kiss
07 Ghost
While I was reading this, my inner fujoshi self whispered all the time Frau x Teito, and it would have been really a dream, but apart from my obsession, this is a genial work, a masterpiece indeed. A gothic fantasy with an amazing plot, cool characters and it was a journey full of emotions: there is so much wisdom in this manga and it really touched me. And it's also one of the best stories with bromance: I love the beautiful deep bond between Teito and Frau, their meeting is fated and everything happens for a reason. Even if some things may be predictable, 07-Ghost is unique!
Nabari no Ou
୧୨ Good plot, cool characters, but so heartbreaking. Sometimes, stories with tragedy are masterpieces cause they are tragic but beautiful at the same time: that's the case of Nabari no Ou. An unforgettable story that will remain in your heart forever. One of the best stories with bromance: I loved Yoite and Miharu, so many emotions. I liked also the anime~
Lucky-kun
BL || Step-brothers || Tragedy ୧୨ Fate was cruel...I cried my eyes out. But this story is tragically beautiful, a masterpiece for me, and this is actually Takaguchi Satosumi's first BL work~
Sailor Moon
.୧୨. "Moon Prism Power Make Up!" - How many times did I imitate this transformation in my childhood?? Haha This is one of the first anime I ever watched and later on I also read the manga: a masterpiece in Mahou Shoujo category~ With the anime remake I couldn't ask for more!! Prequel: Codename: Sailor V This manga was also adapted into a live-action drama.
Kodomo No Omocha
Kodomo No Omocha....so many memories!! Everyday when I came back from school I'd watch the anime and Akito Hayama was indeed a part of my childhood: I think he was like the dream of every little girl...you can't deny it xD But it's not really just a manga for children, cause there are also mature themes, even if in the anime were kind of softened or a little changed. The characters face many hardships, they go through happy and sad times and you can feel their emotions as they grow up. There are lots of funny moments that made me laugh, but also serious and more mature ones: a good mix that makes this story, with children as protagonists, a manga for everyone. I might be biased but this story is so good, it never gets old, definitely a masterpiece. ➤ Sequel: Deep Clear (Honey Bitter meets Kodomo no Omocha) - the famous actress Kurata Sana is going to play in a new film as a detective. She wants to be able to impersonate her character as best as possible so she asks Shuri if she can stick around to learn a few things. Shuri also recieves a more intimate request from Sana's manager, Sagami Rei... ➤ Side Story: Mizu no Yakata (Mansion of Water) - This is the one shot of the movie that Sana and Naozumi starred in from Kodomo no Omocha.
