// Based on the Game, adapted also into the famous anime // Apart from some differences, let's say that this manga adaptation is more or less like the anime. However, while being categorized as shounen ai, this manga is not really BL. There's nothing really going on. It's bromance (at most BL subtext if we count the "I love him" said by Omi, the Queen's pet, referring to Kaoru, the Queen). I liked it, but I wasn't much interested, so I read it very quickly. I mean, it was not bad, but, if you want some actual shounen ai, I recommend the anime instead, where there's more about Keita and Kazuki's relationship and they really end up together. It was like seeing the same stuff twice, so it didn't involve me much. Also because it was insipid and rushed. But at least this adaptation is yaoi, differently from one of the previous adaptations drawn by Higuri Yuu, Gakuen Heaven: Revolution, that was barely bromance...

// Based on a Game and Light Novel series, which were also adapted into the famous BL anime // >> Well, it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either. Because it felt like a draft. It was only a taste of the actual story. And, just about that, if one doesn't know the original story, for me it doesn't make much sense, it lacks a lot of background info. There are glimpses of their past, but it doesn't go much far into the actual story, let alone reaching the core plot. This remains at shounen ai level and basically this is almost entirely about them preparing for and doing a school play anyway. But, as I read then in the afterwards, it seems this adaptation came out when there wasn't much source material yet, so that could explain why there was so little to this. And it would also explain why the anime, which came out later, was very different. In any case, I prefer the anime. Altough it wasn't that great either for me, but it was certainly better than this.
Yosuga No Sora

The setting was beautiful and, since I love this kind of setting, that's also what made me really like the story. Anyway, I think it was well-written. Well, maybe some details could have been done better, and in the end I guess I wanted to see a bit more of them, that's why I gave it 4 stars, but it was a very good manga to read with a very nice conclusion. And about the main theme, the twincest, it obviously depends on each person...as for me, I love to read this kind of stories because I love forbidden love themes, so I really liked it!
