This is cute, aside from the forceful sex (and then there's the second pairing who have pill-induced sex, because consent is just too much of a luxury). Uke is not crazy about love and enjoys the friends with benefits situation without realising seme's one-sided feelings for decades. Megane no mama Kimi to Netai is set in the same universe (uke guy there works at seme's glasses shop and he gets married in this story). I don't think I'll read that though.

Melancholy and a little heartbreaking in places, but all very subdued. Licensed by Kodansha for spring 2024.

This was unusual and more on the shounen ai side, covering a lot of their dating phase and some flashbacks. Both characters have issues but they are finding a safe home in each other. 7S license.

Wow, I love that we can see the art progression, from the manga before (2 years earlier than this one) to the one that follows (more polished and with even better anatomy and facial features). This story is more up my speed than 'Light of My Life' though, I'm an angst-driven bitch fml. I wish the uke weren't such a non-personality though, he's tried so hard to change and efface himself that he's barely there as a person. French

This mangaka is capable of writing such dark stories and yet this one is fluffier than candy floss (with a little bit of drama related to being an unusual two-dads family). Cuuuuute <3

I love this type of story, there's one guy who thinks he has moved on from his first crush in high-school and the other guy who is getting over very recent heartbreak and they are fucking for all the wrong reasons.
