I kept seeing this on French sites, I'm so glad Tokyopop has it printed, I do love Lyee Kitahala's work. This is fluffy and happy and hopeful and all the wholesome things topped with a tiny bit of miscommunication angst. Riku keeps getting broken up with - and we find out it's because he won't have sex with his boyfriends because the first guy he ever slept with called him a boring lay - and the last breakup makes him courageous enough for a one night stand with his flirtatious boss (I wish we'd see more of this supposed big flirt, because Josh seems anything but). Except ofc Riku is not built for one night stands or the casual fuckbuddies situationship Josh seems to propose, so he falls in love with this smooth man 20 years his senior, who is very kind and very good in bed, takes care of him and makes him feel cherished. Like, yeah girl, I get it! Josh comes from the same school of thought as Aki Ueda's Hishimoto (Koi Ga Ochitara), he's very much the same silver fox breed of guy and he is so, so sweet to Riku, respectful and caring. Can you believe I'm only giving this 4 stars because it's too wholesome and I need more spice in my yaoi?

4 different stories, all cute and light-hearted. The first one builds on a weird premise (a misunderstanding anyway), but I chose to ignore it as a weird kink :))). How else do you approach a guy who chases another guy begging to clean his earwax?

This is incredibly cute and deals with childhood friends giving into their feelings for each, but with the unusual and lovely addition of a third friend in their group, a girl, who is their supportive cheerleader and has a love life of her own, instead of having unrequited or jealous feelings for one of the boys. Thank you, sensei!

This is super sweet, though Kotaro deciding that he's fine with having his soul taken after living with Al for a while is maybe a little extreme - though it does show how much better his life has been and how he was kicked into action to make some changes (such as transferring jobs from a workplace that was sucking his life out of him anyway). Very cute and both characters are adorable.

This is silly *enjoys anyway* :)))). My fave was the second couple, who get together with the express purpose of beating the main couple (and the second volume is about them). This is a 2020 release and frankly the artwork is nowhere near as smooth as the earlier release that made me love this mangaka.

The art looks simple but it's actually very cute and story is centred on acceptance and a healthy relationship. Then why did you insert that unnecessary rape scene, sensei?!? Seo falls hard because Hatogaya never considers him weird or outlandish for his mixed race (which... low bar, dude, but such is life) and Hatogaya is a sweet man, kind and a little bit naive. What I really liked in this story (and why the rape scene was a failure in story-telling) is that the seme/uke roles don't translate into actual personalities and they are truly equals with actual work they both put into their relationship. Like for instance Hatogaya being assertive and initiating kissing or sex or not completely going limp under Seo, or Seo being vulnerable and childish and wanting to be kissed and pampered. Now gives us Izumi's story, Hatogaya's friend who likes him and conveniently fades into the background, leaving them to hook up. He's hot.

This is very cutesy and drama-free and just lukewarm enough that I'm not here for it. I find this type of stories so bland though I'm sure there's an audience for it, because it's a simple and straightforward story line.

I love this trope so much and the execution is such a delight <3. Really heart-warming and sweet! Takatsuki is kind but detached from Icchi's drama in the way popular and good-looking people who never had to work for attention are, while Icchi is a hot mess and puts his foot in his mouth whenever talking to his crush. Their relationship is so adorable though and the realization of their feelings as well, even if Icchi runs from them (but he makes up by being brave afterwards). For people in the comments who think his love for Ayumi gets discarded too easily - what were you even reading?!? He is uncomfortable and never knows what to say to her, even if he is convinced he has feelings for her. Guys, this what coming to terms with one's sexuality looks like, that's a gay awakening right there. I would read volumes of this trope.
