Sukijanaitte Hyakkai Tonaeta
Whut... Interesting take on omegaverse, where cheating Alpha host ends up loving taking it up the ass by another Alpha (rape, why ofc) and his omega bf reunites with his childhood omega sweetheart and each couple gets a baby. It's a love square O.o
Mount Position!
I really like the theme, too bad it's got rape. Semes get cheated on by their ukes and angry doctor seme takes it out on music teacher seme. They end up living together and falling in love, tone is light and comedic, but lack of consent is still rape, my dearest tachis. Improved art from a mangaka of my youth.
Even a Mean Girl Can Be Loved
Akiko Naoe's MLs continue to raise the bar for josei LIs and this story's protagonist is single-handedly responsible for the manga's low rating (and I absolutely disagree with the purists in the comments), because she can only fuck men who are in committed relationships because of her father cheating and leaving his family when she was a child. Her young co-worker doesn't even register as a man until he shows her a picture of a little boy she wrongly assumes is his son and then he becomes eligible.
Wonder Border
People are dropping this because of the cheating and I'm here exactly for it - sometimes you're in the mood for questionable life choices and seeing how they play out, it can't be all lovey dovey or smut, come on, people, let the mangakas show some a range, Aki Ueda is so talented and she tells beautiful stories, I absolutely trust her with this. God, I wish I could read Japanese. Natsuro gets his happy ending in Over Squall, if that softens the blow. Edit: So glad we got the official release (futekiya? I need to check my subscription). This was raw and depicted a confused man struggling to figure himself out and do the right thing. Can't say I'm sold on the forever after with his first love, and the break-up scene with his current lover was heart-breaking and so sweet (we're talking about a 5-year relationship, that was fucking brutal), but this was a good story nevertheless. Ueda never disappoints, man! I need the spin-off with the abandoned older lover, I'm sure it will be satisfying and gentle.
Gesu no Junai
This is actually pretty dark and I don't have to go into the comments to imagine that they despise the protagonist for sleeping with a married man and probably some choice words about ML having a married mistress on the side as well (how many women can you juggle, Shuji-kun?). My only problem is that they are in love after 2 fucking chapters and having met like idk 3 times? That's very speed loving I'd say.
