I already bought the first volume of this without having read a single panel. It's not bad, though a little convoluted in what time lines are concerned, and I really like the side characters (let the managers be together, please, they are shining in all their scenes together). Showbiz stories are low on my list of interests, but this is very focused on the relationship so it's better. They're both gap moe - Shige (seme) looks friendly and approachable but is a little bit unhinged in his passions, while Shin looks scary but is actually sweet and a little naive. They've been together since highschool (or on a long journey of getting together), story starts with their relationship already established and a live-in situation, but they lose their virginities in their mid-twenties, which was sweet and unexpected (also the sex is uncomfortable for Shin and it takes him quite a while to enjoy it and unleash his inner loving slut). It's actually a big concern in their relationship, Shin's inability to enjoy their love-making, though Shige still ends up plowing him.

This is a very sweet story but it starts off with rape ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Duuuuude, I loved this sm!!! Even if it's idol showbiz, which I usually can't give a fuck about, this is focused more on the relationship aspect, rather than the whole music career angle. Hina has been in love with his former band mate for years, but he has a body complex now (grew up tall and he's no longer the cute kid he used to be) and then he finds out the guy was gay anyway, yet believes he never stood a chance. Thank the lord they are not the main couple, because this type of story is a snooze fest for me, but instead we get the super hunky manly stoic type Takaomi, messing with Hina for fun in order to distract him from his unrequited feelings (that need to stay a secret, since they are in a sort of band show down, something in the background and never had to care about thankfully). Takaomi is shorter than him (!!!) and tops him without issues and then they fall in love so sweetly that I swooned - always a sucker for this trope, man <3. Last scenes have them together for 3 years and wearing matching rings *swoons again*. Art is so, so lovely on the faces, even if the scan quality is kinda crap. Also, the spectacular approach to sex, man, what a surprise - penetration happens after many times of other kinds of sex, not until feelings are spoken.

It's showbiz so don't care. Read the first chapter and skipped to the last and voila it's personality reverse - slutty uke and virgin seme become shy, sensitive uke and assertive, dirty-talking seme. Also, uke blackmails and mounts seme in the first chapter but I'm not going to use rape for it cause I'm just tired (on that note, sweetie, babycakes, uke-chan: if you use his semen to lube your slutty hole, there's zero point in putting a condom on his dick afterwards, his hot seed is already inside you, STDs and everything). So it's a DNF.

This feels unfinished, like it needs more chapters? Art is absolutely mind-blowing, with detailed and nicely shaded backgrounds, but the story is showbiz and non-con and blackmail, with awful guy being actually caring and wanting a real connection by the end. I think this was picked from the chil-chil awards list, and there's a 3rd volume not yet released digitally that I'm waiting for. Lovely, lovely art, such careful attention to faces and bodies, and a sweet story that is showbiz-related but managed to keep me interested by focusing on the characters. Classic scenario of rehearsing together and a very considerate seme who refuses to put it in, with a feisty little uke who constantly asks for it. 2nd volume plays with jealousy themes and shows them in their secret established relationship bliss. Edit: 4th volume on its way! Licensed in French. Edit: 7S 2024 license, YAY!!!

I used to love the art of this but I was already too old for the story-telling in my twenties as it was.
