What a lovely story!! I came here from the movie (which I have yet to watch) and this has been a heart-warming and gentle experience - even if the start was freaking hilarious! french

I liked how this started and I liked the protagonist, strong and unbeatable down-on-his-luck poor guy and then the seme was introduced and he is a douchebag and has a very dark side to him that never goes away not even when they are happily shacked up (he also rapes him, let's not forget that bit). I was a little mad at uke for falling in love so quickly and unreasonably, though he shows self-awareness and beats himself over it as well. There's a lot of smut, like a whole lot, seme has a monster cock (30 cm, do I remember that right? seems fake but ok) and they are both crazy into it, dirty sluts all over each other, which is such a huge bonus. Also, the story line is very engaging and got me hooked from the first chapter, especially since the art is not quite to my taste (but it's fine for a webtoon).

This is an unusual story, with uke fucking two semes and everyone being super good buddies - it would have taken one tiny step further to make this a threesome, why not go the distance? I'm sure there are huffing people in the comments going on about the age difference and how the second seme is a child at start, but the story progression was actually mindful of this fact and they only get together when he is 18. There is a sequel with Prince Shin getting adventurous in yet another country and I'm hoping he gets with his attendant Liandros in the end.

The love triangle part is very understated and doesn't lead to tragedy - it's mostly old man being reminded of his first love in highschool when looking at his son-in-law and while he definitely has some tender feelings towards him, he's able to enjoy dating the other guy (which is where things get kinda iffy, because young Masatora is in highschool and old guy is a real oji-san in his sixties by his looks). Very lovely story - even if SIL stays resolutely and stupidly hetero XD.

Why did Odajima want to kill Kataoka after all?!? What of his own family, why did he kill them? What tf happened in this story? The travelling part is trippy as hell, too. Also Odajima the uke looks like a copy of one of Sachimo sensei's ukes.

Apparently kind seme is not so kind after the first volume, but man I loved this first part. Salaryman breaks up with long-time girlfriend and starts wearing her clothes and makeup on a whim, until shit gets real and he is hit on and roofied in a bar and has to run for his life bare-footed. Kind passerby gives him a pair of shoes and money for a taxi and, because he doesn't want to give himself away, he starts pretending he is mute and they fall in love. I loved that they are both very soft and kind to each other, love is confessed on one side and reluctantly rejected on the other, but no one imposes more than necessary (they spend a night sleeping embraced and that's just unheard of in yaoi). First volume ends with the reveal and heartbreak, because seme was considering marriage to this woman he loved and now everything comes crushing down. Apparently he will be spending volume 2 being hurtful and that's just not on brand with what we see of him here. Loved this story, it's very unusual and lovely. Edit: Second volume starts with them trying to get to know each other as their real selves and it's a failure that ends up in forced seduction attempt from Matsuoka and then rape from Hirosue (what a mess) and realizing this was never going to work so they part ways. I really love Matsuoka, he's such a strong guy, he powers through his grief by getting a promotion at work and tries to date a woman again (but surprise, surprise, so is seme and they have the world's most awkward double date). Edit: Life keeps throwing them together in the most awkward situations (like having to share a room at a getaway) and Matsuoka blocks Hirosue and refuses to ever meet him again. Enough is enough, love his resolution! Edit: The end, if that's truly the end, is Matsuoka still having a spine and being amazing and that is just something you rarely see in BL. He refuses to budge and accommodate Hirosue's indecisiveness and wait for him to decide if his lingering feelings are romantic love after all - it will all be done on his own expense, not on Matsuoka's time and that's just beautiful. Edit: 7S licence!!!

I love this and it makes me unsettled at the same time, because the MC is actually responsible about his extreme sadism and doesn't want to endanger anyone (hence his year abstinence after a really bad experience where he barely managed to get a hold of himself and listen to the safe word). Bottoming keeps his cruelty in check so that's what he's doing with the guy he is dating and whom he really loves, but he gets dark episodes of imagining hurting him. Only 2 chapters for now but I'm hooked. It ends well . Despite everything MC is a good person, though it makes it hard to believe after all his violent fantasies.

I love that the mangaka for this is a man and the story is so touching and sad. A buy. Licensed by Yen Press.
