This is a reread, but damn is this a good story! Very sweet and quiet, drama-free, although there should be some - Kippei is in a relationship with his cheating home-ec teacher, although maybe he's not that invested seen as he falls in love with Honjou pretty fast. It's very gentle and the tone is subdued and so, so lovely and I really, really like that they are both drawn very manly and similar-looking body-wise (even if Honjou is less tall), none of that seme/uke physiognomy to drawn clear lines. Licensed in Spanish.

Lovely, just as the main story. Although there seems to be little effort expanded on the faces (this mangaka has a certain style for drawing facial features), none was spared for the bodies's anatomy and use of lighting - this is one tender sex scene in multiple amazing panels and a wonderful relationship depicted (loved Honjou's surprise at being desired, resulting in him sending Kippei to take a bath so that he could compose himself, which was later completely thrown out of the window when Kippei came out and oh, no, he was hot).

I fucking love this story, this mangaka is amazing and she's outdone herself with this (very diverse story-telling in her work). Drunken hookup turns into regular occurrence and then they fall in love - cliche, but so good it hurts. Seme is straight and terrible at relationships because he's busy with work and only wants the sex part, and uke is seemingly happy-go-lucky and a slut but is actually disillusioned with love and hurt by his cheating ex. They are so lovely together, seme is reluctant and grouchy but has a heart of gold and uke is constantly swept off his feet by this revelation. I hate that they are both indoors smokers (at some point Taichi wakes up from a nap and lighting a cigarette is literally the first thing he does), but when Taichi lit up a post-coital smoke and put it into his baby's mouth I got chills - such a lovely detail, so well done, brought back my smoking youth and that one sex-addict ex.

Two related stories - uncle and nephew find love. I really, really like how Atsushi's face was drawn, even if his personality is somewhat forceful and his mindset is kind of rapey in the beginning. Ukes are fabulous characters, shy and strong and able to slap a bitch if sex hurts.

I love this mangaka and this is one of her latest works and it shows how beautifully she has progressed - the art is so polished and gorgeous I'm in awe, 5 stars for that alone! Story is emotional and very slice of life and it's hopeful. French release.

Cuuuute

This was so unusual and wholesome: sensei likes feminine cute things and that has ruined his marriage. His student who crushes on him accepts him whole-heartedly and that makes him bloom like a flower, it's also a little bit sad how they have to live their ife behind closed doors. Also sensei takes the high road, no touching before graduation, we stan a non-pedophile teacher in this house.

Very cute and with an underlining sadness that comes from 'rescuing' old objects that no one needs anymore, fixing them up and placing them again in usage. Oujirou, young seme-kun, was very, very handsome and super cute. Ueda Aki continues to own my heart.

Ugh, this was not for me, mainly because it used a plot that is difficult to pull successfully and Enzou failed to make it match the HE. Basically guy with family loss trauma picks up stray who was abused by his mother and has trouble belonging anywhere to replace his dead little brother, calling him dead brother's name and generally acting like a lunatic who doesn't realise that is not dead Mamoru (we don't even get fake Mamoru's real name until well into the story). Fake Mamoru finds a place to belong and quickly falls in love (as if a guy like that would even know the difference between love and a little kindness shown to him), and it's only towards the end, when identities are sorted, that we see a good and healthier development - but I'm having a hard time believing the first part would lead to that. Art is gorgeous as always, it's dark and twisted with a happy ending.

I love this mangaka, but what on earth did I just read? Uke looked like a middle-grader while seme looked like your friendly neighbourhood pedophile, although they are kouhai and senpai in high school and they literally never stop giving that weird vibe, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop until the very end. Nope!
