Hello, past lovers with miscommunication issues, one of the tropes dearest to my heart <3

Wow, this was such a lovely surprise, the art is simply breath-taking, the mangaka loves to experiment with perspective and anatomy (loads of panels from above and interesting body angles and facial expressions). The story was excellent as well, lovely characters, enough angst from a backstory that could have delved into tragic but instead manages to show human ugliness in a more understated way (Hisashi being approached by his stepsister and the subsequent misunderstanding, which leads him into the arms of his lolicon homeroom teacher at only 14 - whom he breaks up with at 16, because he's too grown up for his lover's taste). Very emotional and very delicate, lovely sex scenes where both are into it (always a refreshing take in yaoi). All in all, this is a pretty simple plotline, but the execution and characterization are a whole different class, exceptional! I can't believe we're getting the fudanshi director's story as well, I was crushing on him while reading, he's such a cool side character. Edit: Because the English-speaking manga industry moves so slow, I now have copies in both Spanish and English. Worth it tho <3. Edit: Today (July '23) Jyanome announced an anime, I cannot believe how far this got!!! I really hope they keep the art as similar as possible. Vertical licensed all the related works in the universe in 4 volumes so I'll be having all in print in English (all out by the end of 2023).

This is sweet, though the art is completely different from the mangaka's other story, but this was released 7 years before that one and wow, talk about art progress!

This was beautiful and emotional - 2 stories, one cute and funny, one tugging at heartstrings. Even if the first story involved two teenagers watching porn together, there's so much pure youth infused in this, it's just that first love feeling that was so well reproduced. The second story was an absolute gem, I felt it in my old jaded heart. Everything about this was pure and hopeful <3

This was sooo hot and sweet and it reminded me how much I love this mangaka's art, she's so darn good at drawing <3

Wow, wow, wow! I just reread Enjo's other manga and the style is so lovely, but most of all I can't get over the fact that there is actual work put into making the faces very distinct - it's usually easier to stick to two face types, seme and uke, and reuse that in all the works, but they are different across the board and this is true art. As usual, we have a complex and very slice of life story - with all the fucked up details - and I hope it ends happily, because right now it could go either way. It focuses on the boys growing up and on their sexual awakening, in Shii's case, or trauma in Tamaki's case (raised by a single teenage mom who is a sex worker and gets involved with all kinds of sleazy men, has a lot of sex at home within her son's earshot and uses him on social media to get customers, what a terrible mother). Shii is such an amazing character, he falls in love with his friend and is asking himself all the sex questions - the details are so well done, like the fact that he jerks off in bed while Tamaki is asleep, or that he jerks off to a picture of him in shorts (the little touch on the phone screen, right between Tamaki's legs, lord, I literally hid my face, I was so embarrassed for how hard puberty hit Shii). I was scared there would be rape (it got to a point where usually that's the easiest route), but instead the mangaka went all out and made Shii confess and Tamaki reject him and then accept him for a test drive, while having honest conversations about their feelings and approach to sexuality. Kudos! Edit: These guys are so flawed and human!!! Edit 2: Shit just got real, man! Tamaki's mom has been touching him a lot and making him call her by her name and he is so scared.

This is Gosan no Heart's Udou-niichan's story and it's so good, I love him - he comes across as a shameless bisexual in the other story but he's actually sweet and shy and carries a broken heart that I resonated with so much (the fact that he is insensitive and a player and hates other people's happiness because he was one-sidedly in love once and then becomes soft and wishes for everyone to be happy because being in requited love feels so good and fulfilling to him - oh, my heart).
