This was so good, such sweet and kind characters and a soft vibe.

This is so wholesome and heartwarming, it has a sweet uke who is afraid to love again and a bitch resting face seme who is the gentlest and most considerate man ever. I loved this so much <3

Wow, I love this absolutely destructive and painful love story! Hole brothers falling in love and the tsundere uke provoking a bunch of hooligans into raping him just so that he experiences other men? Shit, I'm so into this angst.

I am more interested in Kan-chan than Yumi and his story is just as heartbreaking. I do hope they both move on and he is happy with Shuuna. Edit: I love Kan-chan, I love him so much, even if he's problematic and hit Yumi, but wow, I want him to be happy and he is, Shuuna put a ring on it. (also, how can I not love a switch, Kan is seme with Yumi and uke with Shuuna)

Although professor has a quiet unsociable personality, he gets to grow and show us different sides and all in all this is as gentle and human as a silent cry for help.

The version on mangago is missing some panels in chapter 5.5 (the complete sex scene to be exact) and so does the one on mangarock, it's driving me bonkers. No other aggregator site seems to have that version and I'm starting to think I hallucinated the whole thing, but I clearly remember this issue months ago and that I did manage to find the complete extra chapter. I despair! That being said, this manga is definitely one of my favourite ever, wholesome and sweet and with the most amazing and respectful seme to ever top, seriously, that guy is golden, older, a complete gentleman who doesn't shy away from domestic chores, settled and making money, dynamite in the sack and gentle as a caress. I'm stealing this comment, because it hits all the good points: He oozes masculinity. Domineering without being creepy, yet at the same time he projects a quiet strength, confidence and he provides the much needed dedication, security and tenderness for his partner. He is Ise's safe haven, while respecting his feelings, needs and boundaries. He fuckin' respects Ise, man! Also, I've never read a yaoi where the top's attraction and love for their partner was so visceral and palpable. An ideal partner in my book, which is so rarely encountered in the yaoi realm. Bravo, Ueda Aki, you are one hell of a lady (and mangaka)! :) P.S. Their first make out scene (well, all of them, really) and the glove bit towards the end, the whole sex scene (he used a fuckin' condom, dear God, safe sex in yaoi , hallelujah!) are some of the most sensual scenes I've ever seen/read in my whole life.

This has got to be one of the best manga I have ever read and this is actually a reread - beautiful art, gorgeous anatomy, exceptional slow burn (as yaoi goes this is tectonic plates shift falling in love), beautiful characterization and stunning comic layout. This is friends-to-lovers roommates falling in love, but not before making a detour into other people's beds, all as a lesson in maturing and learning from mistakes, with a dab of tragic backstory. I don't think any of the works of this mangaka are licensed, but if they are take my money. This is an older release, you can actually track the artistic progress through the years - this was good, aiming for anatomically correct and realism, but 2017 & 2019 art is jaw-dropping.
