I would read so many volumes of this!!! Estranged spouses, but like only in Japanese culture can happen, who barely speak to each other anymore and haven't shared a bedroom in 2 years, but are still in love with other and want to fix things. It starts with a few words that the husband can barely get out and then they communicate . It's from the author of Promise Cinderella and you know she makes them good!

This was such a fantastic pick me up, even if it actually deals with some pretty heavy topics and it focuses on them. Ai-chan (Ai from 'love' <3) and Nao-kun are Hiro's daddies (that's what he calls them) and the story goes back and forth in time to show them getting together in high school, adopting their son and raising him for many years (they get him at 3 months old and the oldest he's shown is 8). Daddies are very different people, with different personalities and life experiences - Ai was raised in a loving family, was always vocal about being gay and was always accepted just how he is, while Nao was abandoned by his mother as a child and raised by a single father (who is shown to be very kind and very loving and not blaming his wife for leaving at all), who dies when Nao is still a student and leaves him even more broken. It's why Nao doesn't want to get into a relationship, for fear of being left behind again, and Ai is so good at showering him with love and assurance. They are very good parents and we are shown instances of societal judgement that they gracefully overcome, prejudices or hangups of their own, and how determined they are to show and tell Hiro that he is their most precious child and they want and love him forever. I was in tears at these beautiful daddies, this is such a sweet and gentle story! It's shonen ai, though I would have wanted to see some sexy downtime, but the author gives us a panel with who it top and bottom, which actually has no relevance at all, because they give off such vers vibes. I love Roji's art and story telling. Licensed in Italian.

Today is the day I catch up with Marukido Maki's stories and marvel at her skill. One of the best voices in BL, such compelling three-dimensional characters. French release.

2024 7S license. Sweet story about a relationship that is already 2 years old with a one-year cohabitation, where one boy is worried he might be a sex addict and starts avoiding sex while the other takes it as a sign of feelings growing cold - which is actually what I liked here. The premise for this little drama seems ridiculous but Shima's anxiety is real and it broke my heart a little. As always, everything is resolved with communication, duh.

Very sweet and fluffy as a cloud, episodic chapters. It recently got a tankoubon in Japan so there's a lot of extra pages that will get scanlated as well. Love this mangaka's depiction of love, it's very sweet and uplifting and drama-free.

Direct sequel to Dekiai Nante Mitomemasen! Drama of Todou's family, who don't accept him, learning to be happy for their son's happiness.

7S license. This is cute, but we don't have any more space for manga, precious. This needs to go in the 'not a purchase' pile.
