SpringHaze's manga / #Bullying(2)

Knot

Complete | Akihira shiro | 2019 released

O, man, I thought this would be complete (ch.5), but it stops at such a cliffhanger point. Comments are ofc stupid and detract points for a child being abused by his father (Tou's stepfather is having sex with him and he always has bruises) - children, go read fluffy stories if this is too much for your stomach, but this doesn't make a story bad, just because you're too immature or cretin to handle it. The story is re-encounter after re-encounter and a feeling that I am deeply familiar with: a misstep and the impossible burden of making a connection again. These children start as friends and then Shizuka accidentally finds out Tou likes him and everything goes downhill for the rest of their childhood and teenage years. When Shizuka confesses (in uni) and is instantly rejected, he has such a sweet, innocent reaction to it, he is such a kind-hearted boy. I hope Tou gets his happiness. Edit: Lovely boys! Shizuka is so worried he is going to be another bad memory when they have sex.

Utsukushii Kare

Ongoing | nagira yuu,kitano megumi | 2019 released

I watched the drama for this and it made me want to beat the shit out of Hira. The art is incredibly pretty and Kiyoi is princely indeed, but Hira is still a fucking pathetic creep. I would have considered this differently if I hadn't seen the drama first, it would have been complete fiction without actual real live representation, but alas I've been ruined. Meanwhile a new movie came out and they have artistic sex under a gauzy sheet for esthetic reasons while Hira is probably still absurdly obsessed. The manga is better at getting us into Hira's head, except it's still a nonsensical space and Kiyoi should run in the opposite direction. Kiyoi otoh is very good at appearing human and possessing worldly wants and desires (such as having a career as an idol) yet managing to look untouchable and godly to Hira, who is delulu. The drama covers the whole novel, while the manga is slow at catching up. I must admit I'm very, very tempted to buy this trash fire (licensed in Italian iirc) because the art is just so fucking appealing, does that make sense? No? Edit: Hira you're so fucking sick. Edit: Tokyopop.
