I don't remember where I've stopped

I've only read the first chapters but I feel like both scenario and drawings are lazy. So many interactions, side stories or secondary chara who could have bee more developed. Too much "skip time". A "fell in love event" that I don't understand... well, she just give him a piece of cake. Also, backgrounds are not really full of details if they're not just pictures.
