I think everyone is heavily underestimating the effects of trauma in this webtoon and to be honest its seriously pissing me off. I keep seeing comments saying they are mentally adults they should know better, or they went through all of those traumatic experiences for 5 years, dont be so trusting. First of all, some people are naive and trust easily this says nothing towards your emotional maturity. Secondly, the Duke was one of the first people to treat the twins normally despite being illegitimate children. Imagine being continously ridiculed and discriminated against for something you cant control, and then soneone comes along and treats with the kindness and respect you deserve, while you may not trust them entirely, you let your guard down and dont really expect them to be like the people who discriminate against you. Third, the green haired guy (forgot his named) is also an illegitimate child the trust him because he was probably in a similar situation. I myself do not trust easily, but even i can admit when you find someone who might genuinely understand the things you went through and the trauma snd suffeting caused because of that, you can unintentionally open up and trust quickly. If you are going to read this and make light if the consequences of someones trauma just because you dont understsnd, just drop the webtoon. No one needs to hear you ignorant comments.
