Honestly, this series is dope. Taking a superficial, common plot like this and really showcasing great character moments, motivations, and art. I really love how, even though our heroine has realized she’s in an otome, she continues to maintain her pushy, assertive “villainous” personality. Looking forward to reading more

I have to ask. Who is this for??? You’d think this is written for young women, since it’s super plucky and cute, all about magical girls and school... but there’s all this weird perv shit written in? All sexualizing young girls... i think it’s trying to be funny usually.... but tonally, super awkward. There’s an unnecessary amt of ecchi that makes it feel like it’s for dudes with short attention spans, really ruins a lot of moments.

First off, I don’t really see protagonist as a particularly strong female lead. Most of these shoujos aren’t, since the female protagonist is defined by the man she’s related to or married to. In this case it’s a dragon, so fuck it I guess. Maybe we’ll see more of her fighting spirit over time. Pros: not particularly offensive. Lukewarm sweet moments. Dragon! Cons: Dragon design.... what is anatomy. Characters don’t feel very well defined. Reminds me of Sacrificial Princess and King of Beasts, except less developed. Though both the boys have very silly beast designs.

Really really interesting. Not a POV I’d expect nor think of, glad it’s here.
