Haru ga kita
Additional star just cause it’s the first time I’ve seen a trans man in a BL. Story’s too fast paced for its own good. You get the feeling that entire chapters are missing in between mere panels. Might be the fault of the shitty translation job, but a lot of the dialogue and character interactions feel like puzzle pieces and I’ve gotta figure out what the fuck they have to do with anything and why it’s even there. And I’m sure Sakura had regulars, so what was the use in the receptionist calling up Kaede about the stalker when they’ve known each other all of two days. Pretty much everything that drives the story foreword isn’t rooted in any reason or the result of decisions the characters themselves make. Should’ve ditched the stalker subplot entirely. Sakuras backstory is fine, Kaede’s is just funny. Would’ve been better had it been these two love-starved and socially inept adults figuring out how to be in a relationship.
