Nen's manga / #isekai(28)

It's been a while since I've read such an interesting BL! So many of them have a fantasy theme but focus so much on the romance that the plot is barely there. Here, while it's clear that every ML has a reason to pursue the MC, it's all in the background while Maythan struggles with the world he's currently in. It's also interesting that he only knows the final part of the game he's living through and that he really wants to return to his old world. The fact that Shae seems a réincarnée as well is super intriguing and someone said she could be Maythan's sister, which would be very nice. Overall I can only complain there isn't a second season yet.

At the beginning I almost dropped this because it seemed really not worth the time but holy shit the plot really picked up after a bit. Works where they explore how it feels to be just a character with no agency almost never miss for me (July found by chance, Surviving Romance) and the part with Seom and the author really hit deep. I usually don't like the "everyone's in love with the MC" trope but here it works because there's an actual reason for that. The plot twists were good and the characters worked so well. I really enjoyed the read.

Ch. 46 It's good, the story is interesting and the art is great but it feels a little too much of an otome game where the protagonist goes around collecting his harem and that isn't really my cup of tea
