Blue moonrose's manga / #Cute(6)

I liked this one. It was a touch love story, mostly dark humor, and a pinch of sad back story. It is a little disappointing that it ended abruptly however, it had a story line that could have gone on two different paths. It could have become darker with violence as with the introduction of Micheal or go the way it did where it wraps itself up easily. I will remember this one for its humor the most, though. And the way emotions were drawn. Her face...so many emotions. She was not the typical pretty girl character either. That made it all the more enjoyable. 8.5/10

I love how free and unguarded she is with the captain- as she never had to act like a girl before so she doesn't have those defenses so she is just straight up sharing spoon and snuggling next to him like they were buddies.

The story has a full circle ending, which I love. It made me appreciate how those minuscule facts about him being a 'hero' at the beginning played into his personal character at the end. And the ending scene for the reunion- I was speechless. The art is atypical but the stylization grew on me the further I read. Worked well with the child mentality into adult hood.

Even though it is short, I kept thinking about this story and couldn’t wait to finish. I plan to re-read this because I fell for Sora and Eiru.
