Seems like several people dropped it due to the slow start (? BUT IT GETS GOOD. Handsome FL gets a tad yandere

Basically the pretty blonde “girl” is the ML, the “male” duke is the FL. So it’s actually straight lol The art is beautiful, and the plot and gender bender is interesting. ML is an illegitimate child to a powerful family and is a disguised as a girl in order to not be in the battle for succession. FL is the daughter of a duke, her brother disappears and she takes his place. ML finds out his father is going to make him get married to an old man so he proposes to FL.

I love this, the art is beautiful and has is a real badass female lead! She makes me swoon (︶ω︶) Melissa’s expressions are amazing, completely different form the cute, innocent type we see so often on shoujo — even so, the novel’s FL (Yuri) is also likable, despite being the outwardly ‘white lotus’ type. The swearing, the bloodthirsty aura, learning swordsmanship... our MC ain’t taking shit from anyone! Spoilers: Yuri knows she is the ‘Female Lead’ and hears a voice that tells her she must be ‘the rescued damsel in distress’. Just a doll. Seeing Melissa, who can break her ‘role’, she feels hope. CH 65! Maybe Melissa x Nine will truly begin?! (Spoiler: they do get married!)
