It quite has an air of coming of age. It was a favourite of mine. I could've solved world thirst with my salty tears, if people are into that kind of thing. Well, I was a fan and I was a little girl. I had a heartbreak for a million times xD

The time I spent reading this was good. :] It had its share of impact on my young teen brain and I like it! I love Maria. She affected me. The characters' relationships greatly affected me. The story as I know it is great. I'm 15 now, gonna reread because it means more to me now. About John, I am not answerable until I reread.
