honestly wish i knew what i was getting into when i started reading this. it gets pretty brutal at some points so trigger warning for homophobia and sexual assault. that being said, im glad i read it even if i cried quite a bit and felt a bit numb and scarred the day after lol. definitely make sure youre emotionally prepared for some pretty deep stuff if youre going to read this! my only criticism i can really bring up is sometimes the story felt driven by traumatic and emotional events, which i guess the author just mightve wanted to write a story about, but sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming to have such brutal subject matter in shounen-ai especially when you go into it expecting sweet goofy romance like this one is made out to be. regardless i enjoyed it and it definitely left a mark on me, its truly unforgettable. the love the two main characters feel for one another gives me a feeling of hope and peace, as the unconditional love they have isnt something easy to come across in the real world

i got really attached to the main characters so it really hurt to see the horrible things they had to go through. big trigger warning for self harm. definitely a story you need to be emotionally prepared to read as theres some very upsetting parts but the drama and tension is what makes the sense of relief so intense after reading. personally i feel it was worth it to see the sweet couple end up together happily and it makes my heart ache (in a good way) seeing how in love they are <3 also spoilers i guess but i want to mention that the guy that got into min gyeoms pants is literally a predator and borderline pedophile. the girl who he cheated on deserves so much better and he deserves to wallow in his pain and depression until he dies a slow painful death :)
