Can't really describe it properly. It's soooo hilarious it made my stomach and my jaw hurt from laughing. The jokes and situations are funny but the best parts were when the characters try to cope up w/ it. Trying to solve the situations but their actions will result to an even funnier thing. It's so random i have no idea what'll come next. Though it's a comedy genre, it will also make your heart clench. Most of the serious arcs are sad, inspiring, heartwarming, exciting... The characters are all funny and lovable. Even the antagonists, i love them all!
The mc, gintoki, maybe a lazy ass, sometimes dirty minded, shameless in a funny way, a cheater, irresponsible coz he's not paying his rent, sometimes selfish, & many other negative traits. BUT he's a reliable man when it's really a serious arc. It's a feeling that he's got your back and saves your ass no matter what happens. He can sacrifice his self for the sake of others. When he met shinpachi & kagura, though he has a past where he carried a very heavy burden, he's not afraid to carry a burden once again for them. Gintoki is like a friend, a brother, a father for them.
In short Gintoki is Cool. I really love him. The only anime/manga character that i will love forever despite reading a lot of shounen and seinen mangas. He'll always be no. 1 in my heart. I just love this man and the manga!
The current chapter (w/c is nearing the ending (i really hope not)) is really serious. It made my heart hurt and tears fall. But It's really good. I mean the best!
