Just Here :)'s manga / #Mafia(2)

This trope... (Erection = Consent), I hate it. It is actually killing my enjoyment of the genre. I bailed the second I saw it. Could have been an interesting story, good art though.

OK I had to stop at chapter 24. This is not because it was bad, but because it was written very well with a complex and rather broken lead. And I was highly triggered by something that has been heavily foreshadowed and I just had to get out before it came into florishion. To call this a romance would be off... it's more about two broken people who end up in each others orbit, and the story doesn't shy away from this, it doesn't try to make it feel like it's fluffy and nice. Which is why I think it's actually an exemption to the rule of the romantic lead shouldn't be the reason for pain. When it's made clear that the relationship isn't great and the characters are aware enough and you as readers are then I think it can work. but yeah trigger warnings ahead friends...
